Iran Print Industry News Agency
Booth rental rate increases due to Turkey’s low turnout at this year's exhibition

Not long ago, the printing industry news agency (IPINA) published a report quoted from the Khabarnegaran-e Javan about the lack of serious presence of Turkey printing and packaging industry representatives in the exhibition. To know more about this we talked to Mahdi Jahani the representative of Tuyap Exhibition Company of Turkey.

“As far as I know, there were no problem in total and the exhibition was satisfying” says Mahdi Jahani about evaluation of the Turkey printing and packaging industry representatives of the last year exhibition. “Since Tuyap company is well known in Turkey and has a high reliability among Turkish companies it is expected that the participation of Turkey in this printing and packaging exhibition will be reduced because of the organizers’ change of policy and lack of cooperation with Tuyap” he continues about the lack of serious presence of Turkey printing and packaging industry representatives in this year’s exhibition reason.

“Given that Tuyap Company is the holder of Istanbul Printing and Packaging Industry Exhibition this could led to bolder and more presence of Turkey printing and packaging industry representatives in Iran printing and packaging exhibition” he adds. He also mentioned the other reason and said that increasing in the booth’s rent for foreign countries was the other bad policy of the twenty third Exhibition of Printing and Packaging industry which led to the lack of presence of the Turkey representatives.

“Due to the presence of Turkey in the other exhibitions, such as Door and Window Exhibition the safety problems in Turkey could not be a main reason for this issue but the overlap of increased rental rates and the lack of cooperation with Tuyap Company are the main reasons”.
