“According extracted statistics by experts of the Industries and Business Organization of the province the amount of domestic and foreign investments in 2013, was 29 thousand billion Rials that with an increase of 14 thousand billion Rials in 2014 rose to 43 thousand billion Rials” says Ali Kalantary in an interview referring to the impact of the increase in domestic and foreign investments in the economic prosperity and development of the province.

“The investment amount mentioned in Zanjan Province has been issued on the basis of operating files” he added.

“If setting the based Chinese units up in Ijrud and checking out the change operation of producing iron ingot line to producing ingot steel in Foulad-e Sahand foundry Company of Ijrud, the employment opportunities for applicants would be provided. This would have a significant impact on economic boom and the development of the province” he continues stating that a part of foreign investments in the province was related to Chinese in 2015.

Change in the production line of Foulad-e Sahand

He declared “Pouyaris” the industrial unit in Abhar with a predicted investment of one thousand and 550 billion Rials and production capacity of 13 thousand 800 tons of thread as the other open able project in the late August.

“According to the statements the experts of this unit will work by using Switzerland technology” says Kalantary.

“Predicting the setting up of Pouyaris industrial unit in late August the employment opportunities for 286 people will be provided” he continues.

Stating that “Foulad Karan Navard-e Ofogh “industrial unit hat is active in producing Special alloy for electrode production which is located in Abhar the Industrial Affairs Assistant of Industries and Business Organization said that this is among the other projects intended to launch in late August. “By launching this unit the employment opportunity would be provided for 140 people” he says. He notified the annual production capacity of this unit 200 thousand tons of alloy steel.

“It has been predicted that the unit is put into operation by the end of March 2017. But if this is not possible Official activity of “Foulad-e Alborz Nab-e Arash” industrial unit will be started up by next first half year” says Kalantary pointing to The establishment of this industrial unit with a production capacity of one million tons of carbon steel and low alloy ingots.

“The investment has been made on this unit was 8 trillion Rials” he reiterated referring to the provision of employment for 507 people in “Foulad-e Alborz Nab-e Arash” industrial unit.

“Foulad-e Alborz Nab-e Arash industrial unit will work with electric arc furnace technology while most similar units are operating using induction furnace technology” he says referring to the electrical advantages of this unit compared to similar organizations in the country.

“A part of the investment of Foulad-e Alborz Nab-e Arash industrial unit is through foreign investment” he says.

Kalantary said that the economic growth requires investment in both foreign and domestic suppliers and emphasized in the maximum benefit for the prosperity of the communities.

“Regarding that this industry generates a high proportion of added value creates a relatively high employment to the investment that is fund in it and it could provide a good condition for gaining exchange in the province” he continues referring to the advantages of investing in textile industry in Zanjan province.

“350 thousand jobs has been created directly for in the textile industry in the country that this employment rate reached a million including indirect cases.”

He called the textile industry as the practical industries in the country and said that as the hub of the textile industry, Zanjan province is in the second grade after Isfahan.
