According to the public relations of Science and Technology Assistance of the President, Farzan Majidfar, PhD in Technology Management and the executive of “National Road Map Draft of Iran’s development of technology and three-dimensional printing industry” says Majidfar. Project which is being done by the help of development of materials technologies and advanced manufacturing staff, commented about this project. “Three-dimensional printing production process will make a big revolution in the future. So that it is possible to produce on demand and we can convert an idea to a piece or a product directly from a file by eliminating many of the traditional manufacturing stages. Three-dimensional printing can reduce the amount of waste in the manufacturing process and thereby create objects that are difficult or impossible to produce them in the traditional way.

Three-dimensional printing area in the not too distant future revolution

“According to credible sources it is predicted that the total annual economic it reaches to 600 billion dollars in 2025 that it is suitable by IT management throughout the country a good operation from economic opportunities resulting from these technologies will be done” says Majidfar stating that three-dimensional printing technology areas in the near future (the next 10 years) would have a huge economic and social impact.

He knows the road map codifying a very strong technic to support the management and reiterated that the roadmap has been widely used in various industries.

The executive of “National Road Map Draft of Iran’s development of technology and three-dimensional printing industry” says about the targets of this project that explaining desired situation of three-dimensional printing industry in Iran and its targets and gap analysis under the current situation, checking the prerequisites for the transition to the desired situation in three-dimensional printing industry and developing a road map for technology development in 3d printing industry is the main targets of this project.

“In the first phase analysis of factors affecting the industry indoor and outdoor three-dimensional printing is checked, the analysis of three-dimensional printing technology including items such as trees, Technology and industry are for the second phase of the project value chain and in the third phase the transfer prerequisite of the present situation to the desired situation will be reviewed and explained. Finally, in the fourth phase Iran’s three-dimensional printing technology development roadmap will be traced” says Majidfar pointing out that the project has 4 phases.
